2. Wanderlust - Wanderlust is a 2012 comedy film directed by David Wain. Wanderlust a comedy that looks way better than it actually is set amidst the dreck of late winter releases, features the classic setup of urbanites fleeing to a bucolic rural setting to shed the tensions of their former lives, but with a 21st century recession twist.

3. Joyful Noise - Joyful Noise pairs up Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton as Vi Rose Hill and G.G. Sparrow, two head-strong choir members in the small town of Pacashau, Georgia. With the town having fallen on hard times, people are counting on the choir of their local church to win the Joyful Noise Competition, a national competition for choirs. Vi and G.G. both have very different ideas on how this should be done, causing the two to clash in hilarious ways.

4. A Thousand Words - A satiated man who’ll say anything to get his way learns that he has only a thousand words left to speak before he will die. Hope he learns how to not speak! I wonder if Sign language counts. Maybe he can write his words instead of speaking them. We’ll see when this movie comes out in March.

5. American Reunion - American Reunion is a 2012 comedy film written and directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. American Reunion in a nutshell. It’s nice catching up, finding out what happened in the lives of the characters, and realizing that, ultimately, nothing’s really changed except for the size of their guts. After that, it’s mostly tedious, watching characters ruminate about their own past and clumsily attempting to recapture it.

6. One For The Money - One for the Money is a 2012 comedy film based on the 1994 novel of the same name by Janet Evanovich. Directed by Julie Anne Robinson, the screenplay was written by Liz Brixius, Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith. It stars Katherine Heigl, Jason O’Mara, Debbie Reynolds, Daniel Sunjata and Sherri Shepherd. This movie could have been great Sunday matinee fun with Marisa Tomei and a decent screenplay. If romcoms must exist they should all have a gun wielding, foul-mouthed female protagonist with a sassy hooker for a sidekick.
